How GrantLens handles your data.

This page explains what information GrantLens collects through the website, why we collect it, where it is stored, and how you can contact us about it. It is a practical policy for users, not legal advice.

What data we collect

GrantLens currently collects information through two main website forms:

  • Join GrantLens: email address, and optionally your name, country, organisation, role, interests, and notes.
  • Writing support / support request: name, email, country, organisation, service requested, grant name or funder, grant link, application deadline, request details, draft status, urgency, and preferred contact method.

We do not ask for sensitive personal categories such as health data. Please avoid submitting confidential client, funder, or proposal material unless it is necessary for your request.

Why we collect it

We collect this information to:

  • send relevant GrantLens updates and funding opportunities
  • understand the kinds of organisations and users who want to use GrantLens
  • review and respond to support requests
  • confirm scope, timeline, and next steps for paid support where relevant
  • improve the catalogue, guidance, and future tools

Where your data is stored

The GrantLens website is hosted on Vercel. Form submissions are currently processed by secure server-side routes and stored in Airtable for operational use by the GrantLens team.

We use this setup to manage signups, support requests, and internal workflow while the product is still at an early stage.

Email updates and future tools

Joining GrantLens is free. If you sign up, we may send selected grant updates, relevant opportunities, and notices about future tools or support based on the preferences you share.

Email tools may be introduced later to manage updates more efficiently. If that happens, we will use them only for GrantLens-related communication and keep this page updated.

Payments

GrantLens does not currently collect payment card details directly on the website. If you request a paid service, payment details are shared only after we confirm the scope and timeline with you.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to:

  • ask what information we hold about you
  • request correction of inaccurate information
  • request deletion of your signup or support request details
  • ask to stop receiving updates
