What is a custom brief request?
You submit a grant URL or paste the text, and we produce a full application-ready brief for it within 5 days (Pro) or 48 hours (Team). This is for grants that are not already in our database — for example, a donor that reached out directly, or a regional call you found independently.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no lock-in. You can cancel from your account settings at any time and you will not be charged again. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
How is this different from FundsforNGOs or Devex?
Those are listing services — they show you what grants exist. GrantLens is an intelligence service — it tells you whether a grant is worth your time, exactly what is required to apply, what reviewers are looking for, and what to do first. A GrantLens brief replaces 3–5 hours of independent research with a 10-minute read.
Are the grants relevant to Africa?
Yes. Our database is specifically curated for NGOs, researchers, and consultants working in Africa and similar low-resource contexts. We do not include grants that are not realistic for organisations in this region. You can also filter by Uganda, Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, or Global.
How often is the database updated?
New briefs are added regularly. We monitor 40+ funding sources including USAID, Gates Foundation, Wellcome, FCDO, Ford Foundation, and regional African donors. The weekly digest is sent to your inbox on Monday mornings.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. For subscribers in Uganda and Africa, we also accept mobile money payments (MTN, Airtel) via Paystack. Annual plans can also be paid by bank transfer — contact us to arrange.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Pro and Team plans come with a 7-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You will only be charged after the trial ends, and you can cancel before then with no cost.
